» Arrowhead Provincial Park

Arrowhead Provincial Park has been created around the lake of the same name, to the north of Huntsville. Scenic trails meander through this park, offering a wonderful hiking or biking experience. The Arrowhead Lake accommodates three sand beaches on its shore; visitors can kayak, canoe or enjoy a leisurely sail on its waters. Winter time activities like ice-skating, skiing, tubing, snow shoeing become popular, when the temperature drops low at the Arrowhead Provincial Park.

» Mary Lake (Ontario)

Mary Lake is one of the larger lakes in Ontario's Muskoka region. Located to the south of Huntsville, this lake is the breeding ground for largemouth and smallmouth bass, lake trout and pike; fishing enthusiasts love to flock to this lake for a quiet time. Port Sydney is nestled at the southern tip of this lake; this area is the hub for all activities like swimming and boating. Water from the Fairy Lake and Lake Muskoka flow into Mary Lake.

» Lake of Bays (Ontario)

Lake of Bays is one of the largest lakes, located in the center of the township of the same name. The banks of the lake are home to various communities, namely South Portage, Dwight, Dorset, Baysville and Port Cunnington located on the peninsula in the heart of the lake. The lake is deep, has relatively cold temperature and features clear waters. The Oxtongue River flows into the lake. Lake of Bays comprises of vast varieties of fish, making it a beloved spot of avid fishing enthusiasts.

» Skeleton Lake (Ontario)

Nestled in the Muskoka region, Skeleton Lake is a large fresh water lake, located to the west of Huntsville. Lake trout, smallmouth bass and walleye can be found in the waters of Skeleton Lake, making this an ideal fishing zone. Camp sites are located to the north of the lake; the south side is used to organize activities. Trails for hiking, horse riding and skiing can be found here. A small lake named High Lake is situated on its western end.
